Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Puntual is a day planner. We designed it so your plan is yours alone: we have no servers, we don't ask for an account, and we don't collect data about you.
What we don't do
- We don't collect or store personal data on servers of our own.
- We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking, and we don't share data with third parties.
Where your information lives
- On your device. Your tasks, schedules and settings are stored on the iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple Watch where you use Puntual.
- In your iCloud. With iCloud turned on, Puntual syncs your tasks through the private database of your Apple Account, and a few settings (wake-up time, bedtime and time format) through iCloud storage. Only you can access them; we can't see them. Apple handles them under its privacy policy.
- Between your iPhone and Apple Watch. The day's plan travels directly between your devices.
Schedule import and adding with AI
When you choose a photo or PDF, or scan a schedule, its text is read on your device. To understand it, and to turn a sentence into tasks, Puntual uses Apple Intelligence: first the model that runs on your device and, when a schedule needs it, Apple's Private Cloud Compute, which processes the request without storing it or making it available to anyone, not even Apple. None of it reaches us.
Camera and notifications
The camera is only used when you choose to scan a schedule. Reminders are local notifications scheduled by your own device. You can change both permissions in Settings.
Purchases
Puntual Pro subscriptions go through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we don't receive your payment details or your identity, only the sales reports Apple gives every developer.
Children
Puntual doesn't collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes and contact
